Over the coming weeks, you’ll likely see a lot of praise for this author coming from me. Iain Rob Wright is making a name for himself in the horror genre and The Final Winter is the first in a long line of amazing stories.

In this book, a group of people are stranded in an English pub as a huge snow storm pounds their little town. Little do they know the storm signifies the end of the world. In this post-apocalyptic tale, Wright shows his readers the enormous extent of his writing ability with likable characters (it’s obvious that he likes his characters as much as he wants us to) and when you reach the end of the story and find out why it’s all happening, it will leave you shocked.

This is one story that is well written, intelligent, and will leave you wanting to pick up everything else this former retail manager has written. It is currently $3.99 on Amazon and more than worth the price.
