Review #4 – The Housemates

Iain Rob Wright has another winner on his hands with The Housemates. 12 people, believing they will be on a television show in the UK, are brought together to live under the same roof for 10 days. Each competitor must stay in the house and the winner is the person who completes the most challenges successfully. Every person in the house has his or her reason for wanting to win the prize which is two million pounds but what they don’t know is that in order to survive, they must come out of the house alive.

*Cue scary music*

Now I don’t know about you, but to me, the truly scary books are the ones that seem as if they could happen in real life. The Housemates is one of those types of books. I read this book, all 60,000 words of it in one night. It combines scares with suspense and realistic characters that will make you really care about what happens to them. (even if you want them to die. Muahahaha)

If you didn’t catch it in my review of The Final Winter, I love this author. His writing is clean, the editing almost flawless, and it’s apparent in everything he writes (Yes, I’ve read all his work) that he really loves writing. These things combined with the fact that he is a hell of a nice guy make his books a true pleasure to read.

Pick up The Housemates on Amazon for $3.99 U.S. or 2.99 UK. Trust me, you’ll be very glad you did.
