Review: Ghost Vigil by David Bain

Ghost Vigil is a very short story, only about 15 pages long, about a man named Mike who has always loved and looked after his daughter. One day, he realizes he can no longer help her, because he’s dead.

That’s really all I can say about this story, because it’s so short and you all know how much I hate reviews that give everything away. Anyway, this was the first story by David Bain I’ve had the pleasure of reading. It was very well written, but had a couple of minor typos. The story has twists and turns you won’t see coming and despite its short length, is a very emotional tale, sure to strike a chord with parents everywhere.

Those new to Bain’s work will appreciate the talent this author has to offer and I look forward to checking out some of his other books. Ghost Vigil is only 99 cents and available on Amazon.
