Review: Bob the Spy by Jaime Johnesee

Book Description:

Bob is back, join him and his pal Face as they do their bumbling best to try and stop a plot to overthrow the world’s governments.

I read Bob the Spy last night after trying really hard to get into the Game of Thrones audio book. It didn’t happen and because it was really late, I wanted a short read that wasn’t too “heavy.”

Bob is back, yay! In the second installment of the Bob the Zombie series, Jaime Johnesee brings humor to the zombie sub-genre once again. This time, Bob and Face are in danger as they try to save the world.

If you’re not familiar with Bob, you owe it to yourself to give his books a try. There are pop culture references which make them a lot of fun, and the fact that poor Bob is held together with tape and Super Glue is hilarious. I liked Bob the Spy because we earn a little more about Bob’s buddy, Face. I love Face almost as much as I love Bob.

Bob is adorable and the stories don’t take themselves too seriously. Johnesee has a brilliant grasp of humor, and if you want a book to read that doesn’t make you think, check out Bob the Spy.

Oh! I almost forgot. Bob has his own Facebook page. Check it out here. I’m sure he would love to meet you.
